Degree qualified with a minimum 8 years of Events / Marketing experience gained from reputable investment banks or financial institutions, you will plan and deliver flawless client events across Asia. Acting as an advisor to different lines of business under Global Markets, you will design the program for each event, propose value-add activities and marketing initiatives based on their specific strategic objectives. You will be responsible for budget and timeline, venue sourcing, negotiating with suppliers, preparing collateral, ensure adherence to corporate / compliance requirements and provide post-event cost analysis. Also act as deputy to Head of Regional Events and supervise junior team members as required.
Superb English communications skills are required for this role while fluency in an Asian language an added advantage. You should have extensive experience managing conferences and premiere hospitality events for banks as well as some team management experience. To be successful in this role you need to be able to build and fosters good working relationships with business heads, internal / external clients and vendors. We invite candidates who could work independently and excel in a fast paced, demanding environment. Possessing a professional demeanor, decisive with strong interpersonal and influencing skills. Travelling will be required for this position.
