The Randstad Employer Brand Awards (previously known as the Randstad Award) is making its fifth appearance in Hong Kong SAR. Recruitment firm Randstad, in anticipation of the upcoming announcement of Hong Kong SAR’s most attractive companies on the 27th of April 2017, released the Top 75 Hong Kong SAR organisations list.
Commonly known as the people’s choice awards, the Randstad Employer Brand Awards is a leading voice in employer branding conversations, recognising the most attractive employers based on the employer brand research.
We are proud to say that the Randstad Employer Brand Research is the most representative and inclusive employer brand research in the world. From our 2017 employer branding research, we aimed to garner the public perception of Hong Kong SAR’s largest employers based on these three criterias; overall brand awareness, absolute attractiveness and relative attractiveness. This builds an even playing field for all participating organizations instead of creating an upper hand to large multinationals with stronger name recognition than smaller local companies.
Managing Director of Randstad Hong Kong, Natellie Sun said, "The Randstad Employer Brand Research and Awards is a milestone event for Randstad bringing in thousands of insights to organisations across Hong Kong SAR. Now in it’s fifth year, the awards ceremony will be held this upcoming April 27th. As global events influence perceptions around the economies of the world, we look forward to seeing how perception has changed around the employer brands of the most prominent organisations here in Hong Kong SAR.”

about Randstad Employer Brand Research
Celebrating its 17th edition globally, the Randstad Employer Brand Award is presented each year to the most attractive employer in 26 markets across the globe, based on the findings of the most representative and inclusive employer brand research in the world. The outcome of the Employer Brand Award is based on public perception and focuses on three main areas: overall brand awareness, absolute attractiveness and relative attractiveness. This creates a level playing field for all competing companies instead of giving an advantage to large multinationals with higher name recognition than smaller companies. This award is not open for nomination and the results are based solely on the opinions and votes of the local workforce – making it the only award that is truly representing ‘the people’s choice’.The 75 largest companies are selected in each participating market, usually with more than 1,000 employees. This list is presented to a representative cross section of relevant respondents based on region, age and gender. Respondents were asked to identify companies they recognize and indicate if they would like to work for them. This is then followed up with an evaluation of attractiveness factors, such as salary, benefits, work atmosphere and job content, for each of the companies.
