Our client is a leading financial institution with insurance brokerage business in Hong Kong and Asia, seeking a seasoned professional to drive business growth in their Financial Lines Business by managing accounts and expanding the clientele.
About the Job
- Develop and execute strategic initiatives for identifying and securing potential clients by collaborating with Department Leader
- Generate new business by conducting market research, leveraging networking opportunities, and utilizing cross-selling strategies
- Gather underwriting information, perform detailed risk assessments, and deliver tailored solutions and advisory services to clients
- Prepare and coordinate tender proposals, ensuring accurate and timely placement of insurance policies
- Build and maintain strong client relationships by providing exceptional account servicing, including renewals and assisting with claims when required
- Act as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring their needs are addressed efficiently and professionally
- Stay informed on market trends, industry practices, and emerging risks. Actively participate in industry events and educational opportunities to enhance expertise and remain competitive
- The seniority and scope of the role will be determined based on the candidate's experience and capabilities
Requirements
- Degree or diploma holder, with insurance qualifications to practice as an insurance broker in Hong Kong (i.e. IIQE Paper 1 & 2) is a must
- 5-10 years of experience in financial lines broking in the insurance industry
- Good understanding of various financial insurance classes including D&O, Professional Indemnity, Crime, Medical Malpractice and Cyber Insurance
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
- Highly driven and energetic with strong interpersonal communication skills, a good team player, and a proactive, self-motivated attitude
