Assistant Manager - Project Accounting: Oversee project budgeting and reporting within the Generation Business Group (GBG).

Supporting treasury activities such as cash flow management, liquidity planning, and risk mitigation (Group Treasury).
Processing vendor invoices, resolving discrepancies, and assisting with month-end AP closing (Accounts Payable).
Conducting daily/monthly reconciliations, preparing financial reports, and ensuring data accuracy (Accounting).
Managing project budgets, executing re-baselining programs, and providing budget updates for GBG initiatives (Project Accounting).
Collaborating with internal teams, project managers, and external stakeholders to resolve queries and ensure compliance.
Ensuring adherence to CLP’s accounting, budgeting, and treasury policies, procedures, and internal controls.
Contributing to process improvements, audits, and ad-hoc financial tasks as needed.
Educational Qualifications
Graduate degree with a basic understanding of accounting, finance, or budgeting (e.g., B.Com, BBA, or equivalent).
Highly preferred for Assistant Manager roles: Qualified accountant (e.g., CPA, ACCA, CMA, or equivalent certification).
Work Experience
Minimum of 3-5 years of hands-on experience in accounting, treasury, finance, or a related field.
Preference for candidates with 6+ years of experience in relevant areas (e.g., treasury operations, invoice processing, reconciliations, or project accounting).
Significant exposure to treasury functions (e.g., cash management, banking, or risk management) is a plus for treasury-focused roles.
Experience in an ERP environment (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or similar systems) is strongly preferred.
Required Skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, with advanced Excel skills (e.g., pivot tables, VLOOKUP, etc.).
Strong attention to detail and accuracy in handling financial data.
Excellent communication skills to liaise with colleagues, vendors, and stakeholders.
Analytical mindset with proven troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
Ability to work independently with moderate supervision while meeting deadlines in a dynamic environment.
