Assistant Finance Manager (finance, treasury & fund investment)
Our client is a reputable and growing company seeking an exceptional Assistant Finance Manager to join their team and play a key role in their continued success.
Responsibilities:
- Manage daily financial operations from a full set of accounts to budget and forecasts to ensure effective financial management.
- Manage treasury functions including cashflow and liquidity management
- Provide actionable insights and strategic recommendations to the management team on both short-term and long-term liquidity planning.
- Conduct thorough financial assessments of current and prospective investment projects, delivering well-informed recommendations to support decision-making.
- Liaise with fund managers, conduct detailed investment analysis, and provide strategic recommendations to enhance portfolio performance.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related discipline.
- Professional qualifications such as CPA, ACCA, CFA, or equivalent are highly preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in finance, accounting, treasury, or investment analysis, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or managerial role.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and budgeting processes.
- Proven experience in cash flow management, liquidity planning, and treasury operations.
- Solid understanding of investment analysis, portfolio management,and risk-return evaluation.
- Experience working with fund managers and providing actionable investment recommendations.
- Proficiency in financial software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or other ERP systems) and advanced Excel skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.
