About the Job

Underwrite and expand a profitable P&C portfolio, with a focus on Non-Motor business lines.
Manage the renewal of existing portfolios while developing a pipeline of new business in target segments.
Achieve and exceed financial objectives, contributing to overall business growth.
Build and strengthen relationships with clients, agents, and brokers to foster business development.
Maintain a strong market presence and a positive reputation with key stakeholders.
Collaborate with the Head of Department to develop and implement sales strategies with clear, actionable plans.
Work cross-functionally with internal teams to ensure smooth execution of business initiatives.
Take on additional tasks and projects that align with the Distribution Team’s broader objectives.
Promote the company’s mission, vision, and values to enhance market reputation.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree with at least 8 years of experience in business development or underwriting, with a focus on broker and agent channels.
Mandatory completion of Insurance Intermediaries Qualifying Examination (IIQE) – Paper 1 & 2.
Demonstrated success in building and maintaining a profitable portfolio.
Able to work independently and efficiently in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
Ability to navigate ambiguity and adapt to changing market conditions.
Strong decision-making skills with the ability to engage effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
Proven strategic thinking, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
Results-driven, self-motivated, with strong ownership and accountability.
Embrace a growth mindset and maintain a proactive, solution-oriented approach.
Excellent written and spoken communication in English, Cantonese, and Mandarin.
Candidates with fewer years of experience may be considered for a Senior Executive position.
