About the Job
- Sales Leadership & Business Growth
- Lead and manage the agency sales team, providing training, mentorship, and performance management to achieve individual and team sales targets.
- Drive new business development by expanding agency distribution and strengthening relationships with key partners.
- Formulate sales strategies to engage agency channels and accelerate the growth of general insurance products across Personal and Commercial Lines.
- Client & Partner Engagement
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with agency intermediaries, corporate clients, and business partners to maximize business opportunities.
- Provide quotations, expert advice, and product support to clients and distributors, ensuring seamless service delivery.
- Act as a key point of contact for product and service inquiries, ensuring a high level of client satisfaction.
- Strategic Initiatives & Project Management
- Oversee marketing campaigns, promotional activities, and product development projects to drive business growth.
- Identify market trends and competitive insights to refine distribution strategies and enhance market positioning.
- Take ownership of ad-hoc strategic projects as assigned by senior management.

Requirements
- University degree in Business Administration, Insurance, or related disciplines; a Diploma in Insurance is also considered.
- Fulfilment of the Insurance Authority’s fit and proper criteria for licensing as an individual insurance agent, including passes in IIQE Paper 1 & 2 (subject to regulated activities).
- Professional insurance qualifications such as IIQAS, LOMA, ANZIIF (Senior Associate) are an advantage.
- Minimum 8 years of relevant experience in the insurance industry, with a strong track record in General Insurance (GI) business.
- Experience in leading and managing an agency sales team of at least 10 people.
- Resilient, agile, and strategic mindset, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Sales-driven, results-oriented, and able to work under pressure.
- Strong team player with excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
- Fluent in English and Chinese (Mandarin and Cantonese, spoken and written).
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
