About the Job
...You will collaborate closely with internal teams in Hong Kong to secure new revenue streams from prospective clients. You will focus on identifying new business opportunities, fostering long-term client relationships, and driving sales across health and benefits areas such as Healthcare, Wellness, Life Assurance, and consulting services. Additionally, the individual will be expected to present and promote our Employee Benefits technology solutions.
- Collaborate with the cross-division leaders to develop and implement strategies aimed at increasing the broking market share in Hong Kong
- Assess current sales practices and processes, identifying opportunities for improvement to enhance results
- Organize and lead new business meetings, including the preparation and delivery of compelling sales pitches
- Manage and close complex sales opportunities, including tenders and RFP/RFQ projects
- Stay informed on market trends and industry updates to build credibility and knowledge within the market
- Build and maintain strong relationships with both internal and external stakeholders, fostering trust and long-term collaboration conducive to new business development
- Foster positive interactions with colleagues, leaders, and managers across multiple business lines to continuously evaluate and improve sales strategies and outcomes
- Mentor junior team members, guiding them towards achieving sales targets and contributing to the team's overall success
Requirements
- A Bachelor’s Degree, ideally in Business Administration, Management, or Finance
- A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in sales or business development, preferably within the insurance sector
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with a diverse range of clients and internal stakeholders
- Strong attention to detail, particularly in ensuring numerical accuracy
- A collaborative team player who values teamwork, individual performance, and personal achievement
- Proven track record of delivering results under tight deadlines
