As one of the global leading insurance providers, the company offers a wide range of insurance products and services. To better support the booming business and organizational success, their Employee Benefits Distribution division is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Executive/ Assistant Manager in Business Development. The role is pivotal in delivering comprehensive health benefits solutions , establishing partnerships, and expanding our market presence. The ideal candidate will possess solid knowledge of employee benefits, particularly in group medical insurance, and have a proven track record in business development.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and execute strategic business development plans to achieve revenue targets in the group medical/employee benefits sector.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities through networking, prospecting, and relationship building with key stakeholders.
- Collaborate with internal teams to create tailored employee benefits solutions that meet client needs.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and retention.
- Present proposals, quotations and negotiate contracts with potential clients and partners.
- Monitor industry trends, regulatory changes, and competitor activities to stay ahead of market demands.
- Participate in any other sales and marketing related activities/events to foster partnership
- Higher Diploma or above. Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, or a related field will be preferred.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in business development within the group medical/employee benefits sector. Candidates with more experience will be considered as Assistant Manager.
- Qualifications of IIQE I, II, III is a MUST.
- Strong understanding of employee benefits products.
- Proven record in brokerage/agency channel management and stakeholders management.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience in managing cross-functional teams and projects is a plus.
- Candidates with more extensive experience may be considered for an Assistant Manager position.
