Our client is looking for a Communications and Public Affairs Manager to join the team.

about the job.

Manage the day-to-day operations of the gallery
Process archival materials and effectively manage the gallery’s archives
Collaborate with other units to maintain artifacts, independently curate exhibition content, and oversee content management systems (CMS) with vendors for accuracy and user experience
Coordinate with suppliers, curators, artists, vendors, stakeholders, and consultants on gallery-related matters, including sourcing materials and content for exhibitions
Serve as a docent, manage a pool of docents (including retirees, alumni, and students), and oversee scheduling processes
Ensure a knowledgeable and engaged team of docents to conduct guided tours and provide valuable insights to visitors
Perform any other duties as assigned by the Director of Office or her delegates

skills & experiences required.

Bachelor degree or above
Minimum 6 years of relevant experience in a similar role within a gallery, experience center, or related fields
Demonstrate expertise in curatorial practices, exhibition development, and collection management
Exhibit computer literacy, with knowledge of Photoshop and other multimedia software being a plus
Maintain strong proficiency in both written and spoken English and Chinese, including fluency in Cantonese and Putonghua
Ability to build effective working relationships with various teams and individuals, and to influence, persuade, and engage stakeholders and peers
Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
Self-motivated, capable of working independently and under pressure
