Job Responsibilities
Oversight and Support: Assist in managing the compliance functions for Hong Kong office, covering areas such as regulatory compliance, AML/KYC, data privacy, and compliance related matters.
Regulatory Communication: Establish and maintain effective communication with regulatory bodies including Insurance Authority regarding inquiries, reporting, inspections, and investigations.
Regulatory Analysis: Identify relevant regulations and analyze external statutory and regulatory requirements. Assess compliance risks associated with the business while monitoring regulatory developments and updates.
Policy Development: Develop and uphold robust controls, policies, and procedures to ensure adherence to internal policies and regulatory standards.
Advisory: Provide guidance to business and operational teams to enhance awareness of pertinent regulatory requirements.
Reporting: Report compliance-related issues to the Head of Compliance and management. Collaborate on corrective actions, outlining responsibilities, timelines, and review dates.
Job Requirements
Relevant degree or professional qualification is preferred.
Minimum of 4 years of related experience. Open to Big 4 Candidates with insurance exposure.
Strong understanding of the insurance industry and products, alongside knowledge of regulatory guidelines and requirements.
Proven ability to engage confidently with stakeholders across local and regional functions.
Proficiency in both spoken and written English and Chinese.
