Take the lead in trading essential emerging market products, including HKD and CNH, while providing market-making services to clients to meet financial objectives.
Conduct thorough market analyses to develop and implement effective hedge strategies.
Manage trading positions in line with market-making commitments and predefined risk limits.
Collaborate with various teams (sales, trading, management, risk control, back office, IT) to address issues and execute solutions.
Enhance revenue generation and client engagement by understanding client segments, activities, and industry trends.
Share market insights, regulatory updates, and relevant legal and tax information with internal stakeholders and decision-makers.
Ensure seamless client operations and foster effective teamwork across local and global frameworks.
Regularly review trading positions and risk limits, ensuring accurate accounting and booking in compliance with company trading and risk management guidelines.

skills & experiences required.

Extensive experience in trading local HKD and CNH markets.
Over 8 years of experience managing emerging market rates trading portfolios with a proven track record.
In-depth knowledge of Fixed Income products, particularly in interest rate swaps and cross-currency swaps.
Proven capability in developing trading strategies and risk management approaches.
Strong skills in crafting detailed trading reports and presenting market strategies.
Excellent networking abilities, comfortable engaging with clients, sales teams, and traders.
Strong interpersonal skills.
Candidates with less experience may be considered for a Vice President role.
