About the Company
My client is a well-established and fast-growing insurance advisory firm specializing in corporate employee benefits solutions for Hong Kong’s most prominent employers. Known for their consultative approach and deep technical expertise, they partner with HR and finance leaders across industries to deliver customized health, wellness, and insurance programs.
As they expand their consulting team due to strong business growth, they are seeking high-calibre professionals across multiple seniority levels—from Manager to Senior Manager, and Director (Team Lead), to join their dynamic corporate benefits division.
About the Role
- Client Advisory & Account Ownership
- Act as a trusted advisor to corporate clients on the design, renewal, and enhancement of their employee benefits programs.
- Lead end-to-end consulting engagements, including market benchmarking, pricing negotiations, and benefits strategy development.
- Build lasting relationships with HR, C&B, and finance stakeholders, ensuring ongoing satisfaction and retention.
- Strategic Consulting & Market Expertise
- Leverage claims data and market intelligence to identify trends and deliver actionable insights.
- Collaborate with insurers to negotiate optimal terms and manage complex renewals or plan structures.
- Explore upselling and cross-selling opportunities across medical, life, wellness, and voluntary benefits solutions.
- Team Leadership & Client Delivery (Senior Manager / Director)
- Oversee junior team members and ensure timely, high-quality deliverables across client accounts.
- Provide coaching, performance feedback, and professional development support to junior consultants.
- Review proposals, reports, and client presentations to maintain advisory excellence.
- Departmental Growth & Leadership (For Senior Manager / Director)
- Take ownership of large client portfolios and serve as escalation point for complex or high-value cases.
- Contribute to internal initiatives such as process optimization, digital transformation, and service innovation.
- Represent the firm at industry seminars, client briefings, and HR forums to enhance market visibility.
- Lead revenue forecasting, strategic planning, and team development in collaboration with firm leadership.
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of experience in employee benefits, group insurance, or related consulting (more senior roles require 7–10+ years).
- Background in a brokerage, insurance firm, or benefits advisory environment is highly preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and relationship management skills with a client-first mindset.
- Fluent in English; Cantonese and/or Mandarin highly advantageous.
- IIQE license (Papers I, II & III) preferred; support provided if not yet obtained.
- Self-driven, detail-oriented, and able to thrive in a collaborative, high-performance culture.
