- Install and set up network systems and servers for optimal performance.
- Physically install servers, update firmware, perform checks before installation, and troubleshoot any issues that come up.
- Collaborate with teams to ensure smooth network and server setups.
- Build good relationships with customers and partners by understanding their needs and suggesting suitable technical solutions.
- Deliver and install devices at customer locations, ensuring a smooth setup.
- Conduct site evaluations, prepare locations for installation, stage equipment, and manage the installation process, including testing and documentation.
- Monitor project progress, identify and resolve issues, and escalate concerns to customers and internal teams as needed.
- Troubleshoot bugs and configuration errors, working with manufacturers and product teams to resolve issues.
skills & experiences required.
- Minimum 1 year of working experience in IT support and administration or relative experience.
- Knowledgeable VMWare, Virtualization Technologies, Ticketing Systems and Server Hardware.
- Experience with setting up server racks, including hardware configurations and power needs.
- Strong troubleshooting skills.
- Proficient in English and Cantonese.
- Independent, responsible, hardworking, and eager to learn.
- Willing to do 5-day work week shift duty.
