• Identify and articulate compliance risks associated with Life Insurance.
• Serve as the Key Person in Control Functions - Compliance under the Insurance Authority, providing expert advisory services to the Insurance business.
• Maintain strong relationships with relevant regulators, ensuring timely disclosure of information and compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Oversee second-line governance of compliance risk exposures, delivering independent analysis and reporting to the insurance business in Hong Kong.
• Act as a trusted advisor in governance forums, fostering a culture of compliance and optimizing relationships with risk and control owners.
• Assist senior management and compliance leadership on all significant compliance matters.
• Lead the Risk & Compliance team, establishing strategic objectives, managing budgets, and ensuring effective service delivery.

Requirements:

• Significant experience in regulatory compliance in insurance industry.
• In-depth knowledge in life insurance products and services.
• Familiarity with the Hong Kong Insurance Authority (HKIA).
• Proven leadership skills and strategic thinking capabilities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with experience engaging with executives at all levels.
