... The Institutional/Distribution Sales Professional will play a crucial role in driving the company's growth by expanding the client base and assets under management. Primary responsibilities include:
- Developing and executing sales strategies to attract new institutional clients and expand existing relationships, with a focus on local Hong Kong and international markets, including the growing Southeast Asia (SEA) and UAE regions.
- Identifying and pursuing new distribution channels to broaden market reach, primarily within the local Hong Kong market.
- Conducting presentations and pitches to potential clients, articulating investment strategies and value propositions.
- Collaborating with internal teams to develop tailored solutions for institutional clients.
- Maintaining in-depth knowledge of market trends, competitor activities, and regulatory changes.
- Contributing to the development of marketing materials and client communications.
- Representing the company at industry events and conferences.
skills & experiences required.
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, or a related field; MBA or CFA is a plus.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in institutional sales within the asset management industry.
- Strong track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- In-depth knowledge of investment products, financial markets, and the regulatory environment.
- Excellent relationship-building and networking skills.
- Strong presentation and negotiation abilities.
- Bilingual proficiency in English and Chinese is preferred.
