Internal Audit Manager, HK Listed co, Up to 65k x 13m
Our client is a HK listed trading company with business across APAC. We are looking for a seasoned Internal audit manager to overview the group audit and ensure compliance with the highest standards of governance.
Responsibilities:
You will be responsible to:
Lead and manage the internal audit and internal control function, maintaining a comprehensive internal control framework that safeguards the company's assets, ensures financial accuracy, and promotes compliance with all applicable regulations.
- Develop and implement a comprehensive internal audit program aligned with the company's risk profile, strategic objectives, and applicable regulatory requirements.
- Design, implement, and maintain a robust internal control framework aligned with best practices and applicable regulations.
- Identify, assess, and mitigate financial and operational risks, ensuring appropriate controls are in place to address them effectively.
- Ensure compliance with regulations, and company policies, including those related to financial reporting, accounting standards, and corporate governance.
- Develop and deliver internal control training programs to staff at all levels, fostering a culture of compliance and risk awareness.
- Assess and review the company's ESG reporting processes to ensure compliance with relevant regulations and best practices
- Continuously assess and enhance internal controls to adapt to changing business needs, regulatory requirements, and best practices.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- HKICPA, ACCA, CPA or equivalent
- Minimum 5 years of experience in an internal control or internal audit role, must have at least 2 years of experience working in a HK listed company.
- Candidates from sizable audit firm (Big4) backgrounds PLUS commercial firm are highly preferred
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects, and effectively communicate with various stakeholders.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in Chinese and English
