Establish and uphold security protocols, perform vulnerability assessments, and address security incidents. Keep abreast of new threats and train staff on security best practices.
Plan, implement, and manage IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, and storage. Oversee cloud services, ensure system reliability, and enhance performance.
Set up and maintain operating systems, software, and network devices. Administer user accounts, apply system updates, and resolve technical issues.
Ensure compliance with industry standards. Keep detailed records of infrastructure and security policies.
Assess and choose IT and security vendors, manage their relationships, negotiate contracts, and ensure they meet security standards. Collaborate with vendors for implementations and upgrades.
Stay updated on new technologies and security trends. Identify and execute enhancements to improve efficiency, security, and cost-effectiveness.

skills & experiences required.

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
5+ years of experience in IT infrastructure management and cyber security
Strong knowledge of networking protocols and security principles
Experienced with firewalls, IDS/IPS, SIEM, and other security tools
Experienced with SAP Basis management is an advantage
Proficiency in Windows and Linux operating systems
Experienced with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud)
Knowledge of scripting languages (e.g., Python, PowerShell)
Understanding of regulatory compliance requirements (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA)
