Our client is a well-established service provider and they are currently looking for an IT Project Manager with proven track records in managing application development and digital projects. The right candidate will be responsible fro managing the implementation of a project from the government/public sector.
about the job.
- Define and manage delivery plans covering multiple projects (software/system development focus) for the Hong Kong business
- Collaborate with onshore & offshore teams to track and maintain the project life cycle, process & deliverables to ensure positive outcomes with agreed quality standard
- Assign tasks, manage budget & timeline control, and deal with external vendors
- Analyze the requirement and define the business request from clients, and recommend best practices or solutions to the business needs
- Prepare project documents & presentations for senior stakeholders
- Coach and share the project management skills and disciplines with the team
skills & experiences required.
- Bachelor's Degree or above in Computer Science, Business Adminstration, or a related discipline
- Minimum 10 years of experience combined with business analytics and project management/implementation in the technology area; especially for software development projects such as web or mobile applications
- Prior project experience in government, ticket systems or e-commerce would be advantageous
- Knowledge of multiple technical domains including but not limited to SDLC, network, database, etc.
- Ability to translate technical ideas and explain to the senior stakeholders who without technical background
- Strong business mindset, communication, and stakeholder management skills
- Customer facing experience is a plus
- Proficient in spoken Cantonese, English and Mandarin is a must
