My client is an MNC with in-house financial trading solutions. Currently, they are expanding their business in APAC and looking for a Project Manager to join their Hong Kong team. The right candidate will be responsible for implementing projects for the top-tier financial institutions in Hong Kong and the APAC region.

- Collaborate with software development team and sales/pre-sales team to manage delivery plans of trading platform implementation for clients in Hong Kong or other locations in the APAC region
- Track and maintain the project life cycle, process & deliverables to ensure positive outcomes with agreed quality standard
- Represent the team to join meetings and conference calls and collaborate with the client's key stakeholders to understand their needs and how best to deliver the trading solutions to meet expectations and obtain UAT sign-off
- Manage budget, control timeline, assign tasks, and work in close collaboration (in a matrix-based environment) across the IT team members for project delivery and motivate the teammates to ensure positive outcomes
- Represent the team to join meetings and conference calls and collaborate with client's key stakeholders to understand their needs and how best to deliver innovative solutions to meet and exceed expectations
- Maintain client relationships, manage client requests, and coordinate integration, new features implementation, and bug fixing
skills & experiences required.
- Bachelor's Degree or above in Computer Science, Business Adminstration, or a related discipline
- 4+ years of experience combined with business analytics and project management/implementation in the technology area; banking/financial services/fintech industry background is a must; consulting firm or service provider background with banking or financial services-related projects will also be considered
- A good understanding of any financial domains/products/operations such as trading platforms/derivatives/equities/financial exchange (FX)/risk etc would be advantageous
- Ability to translate technical ideas and explain to the senior stakeholders who without technical background
- Strong business mindset, communication, customer facing and stakeholder management skills
- Proficient in speaking both Cantonese and English is a must; and currently based in Hong Kong with a valid work permit
- PMP certification is a plus
