- Deliver Level 1 and Level 2 technical support for Windows-based systems, promptly addressing hardware, software, and network issues.
- Provide specialized support for trade floor applications (Bloomberg/Reuters, etc.), ensuring traders and back-office users have minimal downtime.
- Troubleshoot and resolve system issues, escalating complex problems to higher-level support when necessary.
- Maintain accurate documentation of support activities, procedures, and user guides to enhance team efficiency and knowledge sharing.
- Collaborate with team members and management to identify areas for improvement in IT service delivery and user experience.
- Engage with users to gather feedback and understand their IT requirements, delivering solutions that align with business needs.
skills & experiences required.
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in IT support, specifically in Level 1 and Level 2 roles within a financial services environment.
- Proficient in Windows operating systems, including installation, configuration, and troubleshooting.
- Experience with trade floor applications such as Bloomberg, Reuters, etc.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a strong customer service orientation.
- Ability to work both independently with a "Can do" mindset and collaboratively within a team environment.
