Our client is a reputable investment bank who is looking for a Derivative Lawyer to join the firm and support the Equity Derivative/Structured Products business
about the job.
- Review and negotiate a range of master agreement documentation in relation to Equity Derivative/Structured Products
- Develop and maintain standard documentation templates, term sheets and confirmations for specific transactions, structures or products with respect of different asset classes
- Understand, follow and demonstrate compliance with all relevant internal and external rules, work closely with Compliance team to manage investigations by regulators
- Provide prompt, commercial, practical and high quality legal advice to all relevant business
- Work with business closely to manage legal risks
skills & experiences required.
- Qualified lawyer with ideally 6+ years PQE with at least 3 years of working experience in the derivatives industry
- Solid knowledge of relevant banking, securities, compliance and other financial services related laws, in particular in relation to OTC derivatives
- Excellent communication skills in both English and Chinese
