My client is a well-established financial institution and they are currently looking for a Manager with a focus on IT compliance and governance. The right candidate will lead the IT department and participate in planning and implementing digital transformation to support business needs and operations.

- Develop and implement IT compliance and governance strategies for cloud, infrastructure, and security systems.
- Ensure adherence to industry regulations and internal policies through audits and controls.
- Conduct regular reviews and risk assessments to address compliance gaps and advice on workable solutions for improvement.
- Maintain and update governance documentation, including policies, procedures, and disaster recovery plans.
- Monitor compliance metrics, track license renewals, and report findings to senior management.
- Provide guidance on regulatory trends and best practices in BFSI IT environments.
- Work with cross-functional teams to enforce ITIL practices.
- Support DR drills and Software Asset Management (SAM) updates.
skills & experiences required.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in IT complance/audit and governance in recent years, with a prior IT engineer/IT Manager background in IT such as infrastructure, cloud, or security , etc.
- Proven experience working in the banking or insurance industry, with knowledge of sector-specific regulations and industry best practice.
- Good understanding of compliance standards (e.g., ISO 27001, NIST) and governance frameworks.
- Proficient in Cantonese, English, and Mandarin speaking.
- Strong communication skills to liaise with technical teams and senior business stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a regulated environment.
- Familiarity with compliance tools and SAM systems.
- Certifications such as ITIL, CISA, or CISSP are highly desirable.
