As a Mechanical Design Manager, you will be responsible for
- Leading the design and development of mechanical components for IoT devices, ensuring functionality, durability, and manufacturability standards
- Managing a team of engineers to create detailed 3D models and 2D drawings using advanced CAD software tools
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including R&D and manufacturing, to integrate mechanical designs into smart control systems
- Overseeing prototype development and testing, analyzing results to refine designs for optimal performance and cost efficiency
- Ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations, managing documentation for mechanical designs and production processes
- Driving innovation in mechanical solutions, identifying new materials and techniques to enhance product sustainability and quality
skills & experiences required.
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
- 8+ years of experience in mechanical design, preferably in IoT or electronics industries
- Proven leadership skills, with expertise in CAD tools and project management
- Creative problem-solver with strong analytical and communication abilities
- Fluent in Cantonese, Mandarin, and English
