about the job.
- Oversee the payroll transition from an existing system to a next-generation HR platform.
- Manage the full implementation process, including system configurations, UAT testing, parallel runs, and reconciliation.
- Ensure payroll accuracy, aligning system data with employment contracts and compliance standards.
- Handle payroll-related payments, deductions, MPF/ORSO contributions, and tax matters.
- Review payroll reports, salary journals, and budget allocations to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Lead and mentor a payroll team, ensuring smooth operations and adherence to deadlines.
- Work closely with data integrity teams to maintain precision and compliance in payroll processes.
- Report to senior leadership, providing insights and recommendations for ongoing payroll optimization.
about the Requirement
- Degree in Accounting, Human Resources, or a related field; professional certification is a plus.
- 6+ years of payroll experience, with a track record of team leadership and system migration projects.
- Expertise in Tier-One HRIS in both on-premise and cloud environments.
- Proven experience in digital transformation, process automation, and payroll system enhancement.
- Ability to identify and implement improvements post-system launch.
- Strong analytical mindset with a deep understanding of accounting principles, Hong Kong employment law, and payroll regulations.
- Fluency in English and Chinese (spoken and written).
- Proficiency in MS Excel, MS Word, PowerPoint, and Google Sheets.
- A team player with strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
