You will support the team in handling the daily Product Quality Inspections. This role involves collaborating with various teams to ensure smooth operations. about the job.- Conduct thorough inspections in alignment with the company’s inspection and sampling criteria to ensure workmanship, measurements, and overall product quality meet defined specifications and regulatory compliance standards.
- Oversee the end-to-end inspection process, from Purchase Order receipt to recording inspection results and uploading detailed reports via the company’s reporting system.
- Collaborate with approved third-party rework facilities to manage product rework processes.
- Utilize inspection data to contribute to global quality improvement initiatives and drive continuous enhancements.
- Partner with Distribution Center (DC) Inventory Management teams to ensure POs are handled, quarantined, and managed effectively.
- Assist the Global Product Integrity team in reviewing inventory with quality nonconformances and actively work to resolve and exit such inventory through appropriate channels.
- Independently manage and nurture relationships with third-party vendors and DC management teams.
- Work closely with DC Management teams to establish and refine DC-specific Quality Assurance (QA) procedures and workflows.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in the garment, apparel, or retail industry.
- Diploma or Associate’s degree in garment manufacturing, quality management, or a related field is preferred.
- At least 1 year of hands-on quality inspection experience, with a solid understanding of various inspection techniques.
- Ability to interpret and understand product drawings, dimensions, procedures, and work instructions.
- Proficiency in using quality measurement tools such as tape measures, calipers, hygrometers, moisture meters, and light color boxes.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Teams, SharePoint) and Smartsheet.
- Familiarity with ERP or Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) is an advantage.
- Prior experience in a Distribution Center environment is highly desirable.
