About the Company
Our client is a Hong Kong based financial service firm that focuses on investment management, asset allocation and other financial advisory services. To strive for their long term capital goal, they have recently commenced a new overseas development project to cope with current business expansion. They are now looking for a Project Manager (Civil/Architecture) to facilitate their business expansion and oversee the project execution.
About the Job
As a Project Manager of the group, your primary responsibilities will include but not limited to:
- Project management, including managing the project devliery from inception stage to final stage of this high-end commercial development projects in Japan
- Liaises with the government authorities, external consultants and local contractors with regards of project progress and report to Hong Kong office and investors
- Conversant with Japan government regulations
- Planning, executing, monitoring and controlling projects within budget, schedule and quality constraints.
- Tackle problems encountered and provide solutions to improve the project development efficiency
Language Requirement:
Fluent in Japanese and English
About the Requirement
- Degree level qualification in architecture, civil, construction management engineer, building surveying, project management or equivalent construction related degree.
- Min. 10 years construction/development experience in Japan.
- Operate well in a team environment as well as a high degree of autonomy
- Strong project management capabilities, including project planning skills.
- Business administration expertise, encompassing accounting and financial operations.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to manage customer relationships, with a solid understanding of market dynamics, competition, strategy, business processes, and key decision-makers.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Microsoft Project is required.
- Critical thinking, problem solving, and decision-making skills.
