About the Company
My client is a globally renowned insurance advisory firm with a long-standing reputation for serving ultra-high-net-worth (UHNW) clients. Specializing in cross-border life insurance solutions, the firm partners with private banks, family offices, and wealth managers to deliver tailored estate, legacy, and liquidity planning strategies. As they strengthen their presence in Hong Kong, they are seeking dynamic individuals to join their sales team at various levels—from entry-level to managing director.
About the Role
- Client Advisory & Sales Excellence
- Build and manage relationships with UHNW clients and their advisors in Hong Kong to deliver bespoke life insurance solutions.
- Develop wealth planning strategies in collaboration with private bankers, tax advisors, and legal professionals.
- Identify new business opportunities through trusted partnerships and referral channels.
- Position yourself as a key advisor by providing compliant, client-centric insurance-based wealth solutions.
- Strategic Relationship Development
- Work closely with private banks, external asset managers, and family offices in Hong Kong to drive lead generation and client engagement.
- Educate partners on the value of life insurance in estate planning, wealth preservation, and liquidity creation.
- Support and co-host client events, briefings, and seminars to deepen relationships and market presence.
- Market Insight & Execution
- Stay updated on Hong Kong-specific tax, trust, and regulatory developments relevant to UHNW planning.
- Collaborate with internal underwriting, structuring, and operations teams to ensure smooth end-to-end delivery.
- Contribute to local business planning, revenue forecasting, and sales execution strategies.
- Leadership Opportunities (for Senior Hires)
- Mentor junior team members and support ongoing training and development initiatives.
- Lead client presentations and structure advanced solutions for complex wealth scenarios.
- Represent the firm at Hong Kong-based industry events, partner briefings, and client forums.
Requirements
- Experience in life insurance sales, wealth management, or bancassurance, specifically in the Hong Kong HNW or UHNW client segment.
- Candidates from insurers, brokers, private banks, trusts or family office environments are encouraged to apply.
- Proven consultative sales and relationship management skills.
- Fluent in English; proficiency in Cantonese and/or Mandarin is highly preferred.
- Strong understanding of Hong Kong’s wealth planning landscape, including insurance-based solutions.
- Self-motivated, professional, and able to thrive in a high-performance, client-focused culture.
