Our client, a dynamic and growing organization in Hong Kong, is seeking a highly analytical and experienced (Senior) Finance Manager to support their business growth. This is an exciting opportunity to play a pivotal role in providing insightful financial analysis, acting as a strategic finance business partner, and overseeing the implementation of a new ERP system. Reporting directly to the General Manager, the successful candidate will be instrumental in shaping the financial strategy and supporting the client's continued success.
Reporting to General Manager HK and Group CFO, you will be responsible for:
- Conduct in-depth financial analysis, including variance analysis, forecasting, and performance reporting, to provide actionable insights and support strategic decision-making.
- Collaborate closely with various departments, understanding their operational needs and providing proactive financial guidance and support to achieve business objectives.
- Lead, mentor, and develop a small finance team based in Hong Kong, fostering a collaborative and high-performing environment.
- Take a key role in the planning, execution, and post-implementation support of the new ERP system, ensuring its effective integration with financial processes.
- Oversee the preparation of accurate and timely financial reports, ensuring compliance with local regulations and internal policies.
- Work closely with and report directly to the General Manager, providing regular financial updates, insights, and recommendations.
- Leverage any prior experience managing finance teams or financial operations in mainland China to support broader business activities.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field. HKICPA/ ACCA or other relevant professional qualification is required
- Minimum 6 years of experience in a similar senior finance role, demonstrating a strong track record in financial analysis and business partnering.
- Solid experience in ERP system implementation projects, with a strong understanding of financial modules and data migration.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills, with the ability to translate complex financial data into clear and concise insights.
- Strong stakeholder management with experience reporting to GM and CFO directly
- Prior experience managing finance teams or working extensively with finance operations in mainland China.
- Fluency in English and Proficiency in Cantonese and Mandarin is highly advantageous.
