As a Merchandising Manager, you will be responsible for
- Sources and negotiates for optimal quality, price, and delivery through meetings and communication.
- Selects and evaluates agents, vendors, and factories to balance quality and risk.
- Collaborates with teams to create and update a Time and Action Calendar, considering global events.
- Uses knowledge of materials and markets to strategize placements.
- Travels internationally to build relationships and assess production.
- Ensures factories meet requirements and social compliance, organizing visits for new opportunities.
- Resolves production issues with management and approves changes with guidance.
- Supports Buyers and Product Managers in achieving quality and value.
- Handles special projects as needed
skills & experiences required.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in merchandising or a related field, with at least 5 years in a managerial role.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and merchandising software.
- Creative thinker with a customer-focused mindset and the ability to work in a fast-paced
- Fluent in Cantonese, Mandarin, and English
