- Proposing purchasing decisions by balancing business strategy and inventory and E&O management vis-à-vis KPIs.
- Analyze and maintain appropriate safety stock levels to adequately support business requirements.
- Execute purchasing and manage products to achieve the goals of targets and objectives.
- Monitor PO and shipment status with suppliers and record the proper information into the ERP system or other platforms, including move-it transactions.
- Actively interact with global teams, regional teams, demand planning, suppliers, warehousing & transportation to resolve supply-related issues.
- Liaise with the logistics team to deliver the products in a timely manner until identification of AWB#.
- Correspond with suppliers for open & back order management and supply issues such as PLCM, demand forecast and ERP system.
- Collaborate with cross-functional partners to ensure inventory is managed according to constraints and targets that are aligned with the business strategy.
- Participate in the monthly RRM and DSE meetings that support assigned products or franchises.
- Support the (pre-)EDR process through relevant metric reporting and summary of risks, opportunities, & key supply decisions required.
- Autonomously drive the improvements on supply planning areas aligned with the East Asia planning team’s strategy and KPIs.
- Actively manage PLCM and other supply-related global projects to ensure supply plans are developed, communicated, and executed in support of the project timelines.
- Measure, analyze, and report key process metrics, while monitoring adherence to KPIs that are assigned to this position.
- Responsible for regular and ad-hoc information flow for customers, commercial partners, global allocations, and logistics.
skills & experiences required.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain or any relevant fields.
- Min. 3-5 years relevant experience in supply planning, procurement & inventory management.
- Preferred skills in Excel & Power BI design skills. (SQL, VBA is plus), Power Points Presentation skills.
- Good command of English, Cantonese and Mandarin,
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills - able to interact independently with stakeholders at various levels of the organization.
- Experience of handling thousands of SKU with high demand.
