Our client is among the largest telecommunications service providers globally, with projects in cities across the APAC region. As their initiatives grow, they are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join their team in Hong Kong.

About the job

Oversee project progress, including scheduling, budgeting, quality assurance, risk identification and mitigation, and issue resolution to ensure successful outcomes.
Serve as the primary consultant for the client, supporting design efforts, developing new IDC-related business opportunities, and leading overall project operations while providing technical solutions.
Foster strong relationships with both internal and external stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
Monitor vendor performance regarding significant facility maintenance responsibilities.
Optimize resource allocation to achieve project objectives while maintaining cost-effectiveness and efficiency.
Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, industry standards, and best practices in IDC project management.

What you'll ideally have

Bachelor’s degree or higher in Building Services, Architecture, Civil and Structural Engineering, Electronic Engineering, or related fields.
At least 10 years of experience in Data Center construction or operations, with a proven track record in managing complex IDC projects focused on data center infrastructure and operations.
Familiarity with BS standards for construction; experience in design and construction of greenfield projects is essential. Experience in project management for CSA and MEP works.
Knowledge of data center facilities, transmission, or IP networking is advantageous.
Experience with overseas IDC projects, particularly in the APAC region, is a plus.
Professional qualifications, such as Uptime certification, registered architect, or registered engineer, are highly desirable.
