As a Sweater Technician, you will be responsible for

Technical Evaluation:

Analyze sweater samples for construction, fit, and quality.
Identify and resolve technical issues related to knitting, linking, finishing, and washing.
Evaluate yarn quality and ensure it meets specifications.

Sample Development & Approval:

Work closely with factories to ensure accurate execution of technical specifications.
Conduct fit sessions and provide detailed feedback for adjustments.
Approve samples for production based on technical compliance.

Production Oversight:

Monitor production processes to ensure adherence to quality standards.
Provide technical guidance and support to factories.
Conduct on-site inspections and audits as needed.

Technical Documentation:

Create and maintain detailed technical specifications and construction sheets.
Document all technical issues and resolutions.
Maintain accurate records of sample approvals and production reports.

Communication & Collaboration:

Communicate effectively with factories, suppliers, and internal teams.
Collaborate with designers, merchandisers, and quality control teams.
Resolve technical queries from clients.

Proven experience as a Sweater Technician in the garment industry, preferably within a buying office or manufacturing environment.
Strong knowledge of sweater construction, knitting techniques, and yarn properties.
Excellent understanding of garment fitting and pattern adjustments.
Fluent in Cantonese, Mandarin, and English
