As University Counsellor, you will report directly to the Chief Executive and lead a team of two in providing comprehensive university guidance to our students.
About the job.
The University Counsellor will:
- Provide expert guidance and support to students in navigating the university application process, with a focus on securing admission to top-tier US and UK universities.
- Develop and implement strategic plans to enhance the university counseling program and maximize student success.
- Lead and deliver engaging workshops and presentations for students and parents on university admissions, application strategies, and related topics.
- Organize and facilitate university fairs and other events to connect students with university representatives from around the world.
- Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with university admissions offices to advocate for our students and facilitate successful placements.
Skills & experiences required.
- Bachelor's degree in education or relevant field
- 5+ years of experience in university counselling/ university guidance/university admission advisor
- Proven track record of successful university placements, particularly to top-tier US and UK universities.
- Expertise in university application processes, timeline management, and strategies.
- Strong knowledge of the US and UK higher education systems and admissions requirements.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively with students, parents, and university representatives.
- Ability to lead and manage a small team.
