Perform in-depth fundamental credit analysis from risk perspective to examine the credit qualities of the proprietary fixed income investment portfolio
Conduct thorough research and analysis of the fixed income investment market and a different range of fixed income securities such as Government and corporate bonds and other debt instruments
Stay updated on market trends, economic indicators, and developments that may impact fixed income investments, and provide timely risk alerts to front office when necessary
Liaise with front office on credit related matters. Proactively communicate with front office for the cases which the issuers have credit concerns so as to provide advices to front office to take necessary actions and to mitigate the credit risk
Support on system implementation project for relevant areas and take part in UAT
Conduct ad-hoc risk analysis on new business proposals or plans
skills & experiences required.
University degree, with preferred professional qualification in the Finance or Investment fields
At least 3 years of relevant experience from fixed income credit risk analysis
Deep understanding of credit analysis, with work experience in asset management, sell-side/buy-side credit research, credit rating agencies or private banks
Good understanding of fixed income markets and instruments, including Chinese LGFV
Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese (fluency in Putonghua)
